McGeary is a former world champion and a venerated fighter, however he seemed a little gun shy this fight.

Those Snapping kicks were the reason why as Nemkov was relentless in attacking McGeary’s leg.

Those kicks would leave McGeary noticibly limping back into his corner going into the third round.

Julaton would be able to survive despite Hardy cranking the choke. Hardy would be taken down later in the second round with 3 minutes to go and exchanged some hooks from the bottom position and got on top immediately, pretty neat stuff.

Mitrione’s boxing was the key to victory here. He used his jab to perfection and landed some good one two punches to keep Nelson off of him. He even cut Nelson’s ear in the first round.

However, Nelson was not to be denied as he would change swing things in his favor securing a takedown late in the round. He would then go on to do some vicious ground and pound but it was too late with the round concluding.
